Dear IA Music Friends,

We are quickly reaching the end of an amazing concert season. Tonight is our final Band concert and will be fantastic (7:30 Groves HS). The final orchestra concert is on June 7 at Birmingham Groves High School in Beverly Hills and will be a fantastic show. If this is your first experience with our final show, I believe you will be impressed.

The final concerts are a dedication to our graduated seniors and features both student solos and original compositions from our senior musicians. It is also a chance for us to recognize and thank them publicly for their dedication to the IA.

A few things to be aware of as we move towards this concert:

1. This is the longest performance of the year. With student solos, compositions and larger works, this concert is around 2 hours in length and is well worth the time. Please plan accordingly as I wish that all families stay for the entire event. YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY! 🙂

2. Men’s uniforms will be turned in at the end of the concert.

3. A special program will be printed with all our senior biographies.

Please make sure to listen to your musicians and encourage them to work hard towards this final show. From the string orchestra through the symphonic band, the variety of music will be sure to impress you.

Have a great day,

Final Band Concert Tonight!! #iarocks
